Western Wall Tunnels -> Yad Vashem -> Yeshiva student

What we did today:

• Tour of Western Wall Tunnels with guide Nurit
• Visit to the Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem, including:
  
  • tour of grounds with Nurit, of memorials and sculptures
  • talk with Yaakov (Jackie) Handeli, a Holocaust survivor from Thessalonica; see video interview clip from Feb. 7, 2011 (2:35 mins).
  • time on our own for an individual self-paced tour to experience the multiple-media indoor museum (no photos permitted), an arrow-shaped building with open galleries arranged in a time line.
• Relaxation in the hotel
• Evening discussion with a Yeshiva student (21 years old) in an orthodox Jewish community where we gathered for a light meal and discussion in a room of the synagogue building.
